Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026

If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the SceneTrip Operations Team ("we", "us") and users of the SceneTrip app and website (the "Service"). The Service is operated by team mz2az, a project team in the 17th cohort of AI·SW Maestro, a program of Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT.

Article 2 (Definitions)

• "User": anyone who uses the Service under these Terms, whether a member or a guest
• "Member": a user who has signed in with a Google or Apple account
• "Posts": text and photos in reviews and travel stories, and nicknames, that members put on the Service

Article 3 (Posting and changes)

(1) We post these Terms in the Service and on this page.

(2) We may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law. We will announce changes in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.

(3) If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you are treated as agreeing to the changes.

Article 4 (Membership and accounts)

(1) Main features such as searching filming locations and building courses work without an account. Some features, such as posting reviews and travel stories or getting directions, require signing in.

(2) Children under 14 may not create an account.

(3) You are responsible for your own account and must not let others use it.

Article 5 (What the Service offers)

We provide information on filming locations of Korean dramas, films, variety shows and music videos and nearby amenities, course building, an AI travel guide, directions, and reviews and travel stories.

Article 6 (Fees)

As a launch promotion, all features are currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will announce what they are and what they cost in advance, and charge only those who agree. Anything you used during the free period will not be charged.

Article 7 (Usage limits)

(1) To keep the Service stable and fair, we may limit how many times some features, such as the AI guide and directions, can be used within a given period.

(2) The limits and your remaining uses are shown in the Service. If we lower a limit, we will announce it in the Service at least 7 days before it applies.

(3) If you reach a limit, the feature may be unavailable until the limit resets. Where possible we will offer an alternative, such as opening directions in an external map app.

Article 8 (External services)

The Service may link to external services such as KakaoMap and Naver Map, for example for directions. Those services' own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Article 9 (AI guide answers)

(1) The AI guide gives answers generated by artificial intelligence. Answers may be wrong or out of date. Please check important information, such as opening hours, prices and transport, yourself before relying on it.

(2) You can tell us about inappropriate or wrong answers using the contact below.

Article 10 (Location and trail)

We use your device's location for nearby search, directions and, if you turn it on, trail recording. Trail recording is off by default and the trail is stored only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Article 11 (Posts)

(1) You keep the rights to your posts. You allow us to use your posts to the extent needed to show and display them in the Service. Photos you upload are visible to other users in the Service.

(2) Only post text and photos that you own or have permission to use.

(3) If you delete your account, your posts and their photos are deleted as well. This cannot be undone.

Article 12 (Prohibited conduct and content — zero tolerance)

(1) You may not post text, photos or nicknames that contain abuse, hate or discrimination, sexual content, other people's personal information, advertising or spam, or anything else that violates the law or public order. Some expressions are filtered automatically when you save.

(2) The following are also prohibited: impersonating others, infringing copyright or other rights, calling the Service in bulk with automated tools, getting around usage limits, and disrupting the Service.

(3) We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for members who post it.

Article 13 (Reporting, blocking and our actions)

(1) Users can report reviews and travel stories, and members can block the author. Posts from members you block are hidden from you, and they are not told that you blocked them.

(2) We aim to review reports within 24 hours. Posts that violate these Terms are removed or hidden.

(3) We may remove posts that were reported or that violate these Terms without prior notice, and may restrict the member's use of the community. For serious or repeated violations we may suspend the member's use of the whole Service.

(4) You can report through the in-app report function or the contact below.

Article 14 (Account deletion and restrictions)

(1) You can delete your account at any time from My page in the app. What happens to your information afterwards follows the Privacy Policy and Article 11(3).

(2) If a member violates these Terms, we may issue a warning, restrict community use, or suspend use of the Service, depending on how serious the violation is.

Article 15 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

We may change or stop all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. We will announce changes or suspensions that are unfavorable to users in the Service in advance.

Article 16 (Accuracy and limitation of liability)

(1) Filming-location and amenity information is compiled from public sources and may differ from what you find on site (construction, closures, restricted access and so on). Do not enter private property or restricted areas, and respect local rules and residents.

(2) Because the Service is provided free of charge, we are not liable for damage arising from your use of information in the Service unless it is caused by our intent or gross negligence, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

(3) We are not obliged to intervene in disputes between users, or between users and external services.

Article 17 (Privacy)

We protect your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Article 18 (Governing law and disputes)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve any dispute about the Service through discussion; if a lawsuit is needed, it will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under Korea's Civil Procedure Act.
